American Idol meets Pulp Fiction (well almost..!) Simon Cowell has only gone and given Quentin Tarantino the mentor job for the 7 finalists as well as the guest judge's place on American Idol's movie song themed episode! Tarantino isn't new to this as he held the same position just 5 years ago when he was also guest judge on American Idol back then. Anybody that doesn't know who he is needs to watch his films, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction & Kill Bill 2.. You won't be disappointed at Quentin Tarantino's input on American Idol just like you will never be disappointed by his films!
Just in case anybody worries about the show getting roughed up by him, no need!. This dude is a huge fan of American Idol and it's not the first time he's taken on movie soundtracks. In 1997, he co-founded with Lawrence Bender a record company called A Band Apart Records focusing on film soundtracks with its releases distributed through Maverick Records, owned by Madonna. American Idol just gets better and better, don't miss it!
